My 15th Week

Here is some video footage of Joshua at 3 1/2 months of age - he is talking a LOT these days, and continues to build his dexterity and muscles with all kinds of tricks! We have also taken to calling him "Ferris Drooler" as he spends most days covered in his own saliva...must mean teeth are just around the corner!

Three months old!

I can't believe that another month has passed - whoever said that having children made time pass more quickly was SO right...my official mat leave is almost up and while I won't really be working full time, it still feels like the end of the world. Josh is doing absolutley great - at his last weigh in on Friday he was 13lbs 2 1/2 ozs, and 22 inches long. He is growing like a weed! My mom was here a week and a half ago, and didn't recognize him, he is so much more filled out and ROUND! We love this about him, he is our roly poly boy and is totally adorable with his new physique. Mom (me) had her first trip away from her little man (and her big man too!) 2 weeks ago when she went to the CBDNA conference in Austin Texas. It was VERY hard to leave Josh, and mommy cried at the airport when she left. However the boys did fine while she was away, and even had some sleep! We spent a little time on the webcam, which helped me feel not so far away, and it taught me that I can still do the travel without terrible repercussions. I was really glad that I was at the conference, which was amazing. Saw some great friends and some amazing concerts, so it was worth the trip. I go away at the end of this month for a weekend of adjudicating in Terrace BC, and then go to Yellowknife on Mother's Day for a 2 day festival. Yes, my first Mother's Day and I will be travelling...however Daddy has promised that we will celebrate it the day before. This is a video Dad took while Mom was away: He has lots to say these days with a little coaxing!
